The Higher Learning Commission requires institutions who are participating in federally funded financial aid programs to provide statistical reporting regarding the institution. UAHT is committed to being open and transparent with this information whether you’re a prospective student, a parent viewing schooling options, or just curious about the cost of attendance at University of Arkansas Community College at Hope-Texarkana.

The Arkansas Department of Higher Education Consumer Guide provides critical information, such as retention and graduation rates, cost of tuition, loan default rates, admission rates, average test scores, job placement rates, and income of college alumni, with the intention of better informing prospective students and legal guardians of prospective students. Institutions are required by Arkansas law to provide the Higher Education Consumer Guide to all prospective students before completing an application for admission and the prospective student must verify that he or she has been provided the guide.

Federal regulations require University of Arkansas Community College at Hope-Texarkana to disclose whether its degree programs meet U.S. jurisdictions’ educational requirements for licensure (34 CFR 668.43(a)(6) & 34 CFR 668.72(n)).
The academic programs listed below are designed to prepare students for a career in a licensed profession upon completion of the program. A professional license is typically required for graduates of these programs to practice and/or gain employment in these fields.
Each state and territory have different professional licensure and certification requirements. Other licensure requirements may include professional examinations, background checks, years of work experience, fingerprinting requirements, etc.
Prospective and current students should also keep in mind that licensing and authorization requirements vary by state and that relocating during a program to another state could impact whether they can continue in the course, meet the eligibility requirements of that state, and/or receive financial aid funding. Students considering relocation during their academic program are encouraged to communicate with the program contact listed below to check for authorization and licensure eligibility requirements. If you have questions about professional licensure requirements in your chosen field, you should discuss the issues with your program advisor, program director, or review the specific state information provided below.

Advisory Committees:
The University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana uses advisory committees as an essential communication link between the College and the community. Advisory committees provide vital input and help disseminate information to outside agencies and individuals. Advisory committees represent major instructional areas and are comprised of individuals who are experts in their fields and provide a broad spectrum of technical expertise and management. The principle mission of each committee is to provide advisory functions concerning course content, laboratory and shop design, and program development. Advisory committees ensure quality and help implement improvement in programs, supporting student recruitment and graduate placement.
