The Colleges open door admissions policy reflects the institutions philosophy of providing educational opportunities for all citizens within its service area. Admission to the College does not ensure admission to a particular course or program of study. Students seeking admission for the first time should use the following procedure:

  1. Complete and submit an application for admission online (https://www.uaht.edu/admission-application/). Applications are always FREE and should be submitted the semester prior to planned enrollment.
  2. Provide the UAHT Enrollment Management Office with a copy of your high school transcript, official transcripts from any previously attended colleges and/or universities, and proof of two vaccines against measles, mumps, and rubella.
  3. You will need a copy of your ACT scores, or you will need to take the ACCUPLACER exam prior to meeting with an advisor. Any degree-seeking student must have test scores in order to enroll. See the College catalog or contact UAHT for required scoring levels.
  4. ACCUPLACER exams are given regularly; please contact the Testing Center at 870-722-8247 to make an appointment.

Higher Education Consumer Guide

The Higher Education Consumer Guide provides critical information, such as retention and graduation rates, cost of tuition, loan default rates, admission rates, average test scores, job placement rates, and income of college alumni, with the intention of better informing prospective students and legal guardians of prospective students. Institutions are required by Arkansas law to provide the Higher Education Consumer Guide to all prospective students before completing an application for admission and the prospective student must verify that he or she has been provided the guide.
