Eric Lacefield of Blevins, Arkansas, has been named the University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana HVAC program “Head of the Class” through a student recognition program sponsored by Malco Products, Inc., a leading U.S. manufacturer of tools for trade professionals. Malco Products honors outstanding HVAC students each term through its “Head of the Class” Student Recognition Program, which highlights excellence in technical education and workforce preparation. This recognition underscores the program's commitment to excellence, inspiring industry partners and community members to support our students.

Lacefield was selected based on his attendance, class participation, academic performance, and internship experience. In recognition of his achievement, he received a certificate, a Malco cap, and an HVAC service tool kit. Eric will graduate this spring with honors and has already begun employment in the maintenance department at UAHT.
