Joe Phillips has been named the University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana Academic All-Star for the 2026-27 academic year.

Phillips is pursuing an Associate of Applied Science in Business at UAHT. After graduation, he plans to transfer to the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, where he will major in accounting. His long-term goal is to establish his own accounting firm.

During his time at UAHT, Phillips has consistently demonstrated academic excellence and leadership. He has been named to the Dean’s List each semester and received the Dean’s Emerging Leader Award in April 2025.

In addition to his academic achievements, Phillips serves as president of the Student Government Association on the Hope Campus. In this role, he represents fellow students and supports campus activities, student engagement, and leadership initiatives.

The Academic All-Star honor recognizes outstanding students who demonstrate excellence in the classroom, leadership on campus, and a commitment to future success.
