The University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana Secondary Career &Technical Education Center is an area secondary career center located on UA Texarkana Campus and the UA Hope Campus. The Secondary Career Center provides area high school juniors and seniors with the unique opportunity to earn college credit while still in high school at no charge. The centers curriculum serves as an extension of the high school curriculum offerings by providing students with hands-on experiences in a variety of career fields taught by UAHT Faculty.

Prospective students apply for admission to the UAHT Career Center programs through their local high school counselors.
Admission is based on the following:
Tier 1 Admission
Minimum ACT of 15 OR 3.0 GPA
*All Medical Professions & Information Technology applicants must be Tier 1.
Tier 2 Admission
Minimum ACT of 13 OR 2.75 GPA
