The University of Arkansas Community College at Hope is pleased to announce that it will be hosting a Worker’s Safety Conference on October 14, from 7:30am to 2:30pm in the Johnny Rapert Library Auditorium. The seminar has been designed for hourly employees. Employers are encouraged to send members of their safety committee, supervisors and managers with safety responsibilities, as well as others who need training on safety basics. The purpose of the program is to enhance hazard recognition in the workplace, thereby reducing employee injuries and illnesses.

If you are interested in maintaining a safe and healthful workplace in your private business or public agency, you should attend this seminar. Nursing home administrators and nurses may use this training for continuing education purposes.

The registration fee of $20.00 covers lunch and materials. Participants are urged to preregister, as seating is limited. (NOTE: Pre-paid registration fees are not refundable due to incurred expenses, however substitutions are permitted.)The facilities for the meeting are accessible for individuals with disabilities; however, please advise in advance whether any attendee will require an accommodation for the program.
