The University of Arkansas Community College at Hope will hold the 21th Annual Fish Fry on Thursday, April 17, on the College Campus.  The event will be from 4:30-7:00pm and will highlight the grand opening of the Hempstead Hall Amphitheater, so bring your lawn chair or favorite blanket for the concert.

All proceeds from the Fish Fry will benefit the Hempstead -Lafayette County Single Parent Scholarship Fund.  This year the funds raised from the event will be eligible for a generous match of up to $14,000 from the Arkansas Single Parent Scholarship Fund.  These matching funds will benefit both the Hempstead County Single Parent Scholarship and the Lafayette County Single Parent Scholarship Fund.

Attendees will be treated to the fried fish made with the Lions Club famous batter and fried chicken, courtesy of Tyson Foods.  Entertainment will include the Hope High Jazz Cats, opening for the headline concert by Eskimo Brothers of Nashville, Tennessee, performing at 5:30 p.m. The Eskimo Brothers, with local family roots, will deliver a concert that is certain to include a few favorites for everyone.  As always, there will be fun activities for kids provided by the UACCH Nursing Students Club.

The community is invited to attend this fun annual event and help the College raise money for scholarships for single parents.  For more information, please contact the Office of Institutional Advancement at 870-722-8516.
