The University of Arkansas Community College at Hope Foundation is pleased to announce that it will hold the 7th Annual “Pulling” for Education Trap Shoot Friday, October 4,th at the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission Rick Evans Grandview Prairie Conservation Education Center in Columbus, Arkansas.  This annual event is hosted by Senator Larry Teague and Representative Brent Talley.

The UACCH Foundation is currently accepting registration of three-person teams for the trap shooting competition.  The contestants will be competing for trophies and, of course, bragging rights for their displayed shooting skills.  The event is sponsored by AEP SWEPCO, Arkansas Farm Bureau, and Southwestern Energy Company.   A lunch is provided for the competitors courtesy of Farm Credit Services. The competition will begin at 9:00 a.m. Friday, October 4th.  Registration is $300 per competing team. A live auction benefiting the UACCH Foundation will be held during lunch and will feature outdoor hunting products.

UACCH Foundation event organizer, Brent Talley, said, “The ‘Pulling’ for Education Trap Shoot is a great event that allows a Friday morning of trap shooting, networking, and fund raising for the UACCH Foundation. It is a great way to get ready for the upcoming hunting seasons.”

Each of a team’s three members will shoot 50 rounds in the trap shoot competition.  Awards will be presented in two flights.  Ammunition is provided by event sponsors Arkansas Farm Bureau and Southwestern Energy Company.
