The University of Arkansas Community College at Hope Fine Arts Club is planning to perform a one-act play entitled “The Apple” this spring. The play is written by Jimmy Brunelle. Its performance is planned to be a part of a Fine Arts Night to be held in March of 2012. In preparation for this performance the Fine Arts Club will have play tryouts on December 1, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the Johnny Rapert Auditorium on the UACCH Campus.
The cast for this one-act play will include 15 actors, each in a comedic role. Also invited to the tryouts are those interested in serving in non-acting aspects of production which include set construction, lighting, stage management, sound, etc. Tryouts are open to the community and faculty, but UACCH students will be given a preference for roles in the play.
