The University of Arkansas Community College at Hope and Texarkana Faculty and staff returned to campus Monday for a full faculty and staff meeting in preparation for the Fall Semester.  The faculty and staff are ready to help students achieve their educational goals.  Other scheduled activities for the week include a new student orientation for students, as well as helping register students for the semester.

As the conference suites in Hempstead Hall filled with faculty and staff this morning for the “Welcome Back Breakfast,” it was a reminder that the College also serves the region by employing over 180 employees.  Of those employees, 128 are full-time and approximately 52 are part-time workers.  These workers commute from over 9 different counties in the region, with Hempstead and Nevada Counties being home to the largest number of employees and Miller and Bowie Counties placing third and fourth largest.

UACCH welcomed several new employees and several employees who are serving in new positions at the College this semester.
