The University of Arkansas Community College at Hope awarded over 490 degrees and certificates Tuesday evening to this year’s graduates, bringing the collective sum of degrees and certificates awarded over the past 5 years to over 3,000. The ceremony was held in the Hempstead Hall Theater with a near capacity crowd of friends and family members of the graduates attending.
The ceremony included brief comments by UACCH Chancellor Chris Thomason, UACCH Board of Visitors Chairman Jerry Pruden, and University of Arkansas System President Dr. Donald Bobbitt. With all graduates standing, UACCH Vice-Chancellor of Academics, Dr. Jennifer Methvin certified the graduates ready to receive their degrees. The graduates then walked across the stage to receive their degrees and/or certificates and were congratulated for completing this mile-stone in their lives.
Following the ceremony, the graduates, accompanied by friends and family, attended a reception held in their honor in the UACCH Student Center. Please help UACCH congratulate these individuals on completing their areas of study.
