Tyson partnered with the Arkansas Single Parent Scholarship program to assist single parents with scholarships for the fall semester. Wendy McKamie, Savannah Dickerson, and Lynda K. Smith pictured above were awarded their scholarships this week.
A Sub‐grant Agreement was signed by the Hempstead-Lafayette Single Parent Scholarship Fund Board Chair indicating their acceptance of the funds and their agreement to the grant criteria. The $10,000 funded by Tyson Foods was divided evenly between the qualifying affiliates across the state. Once the agreement was received, a one‐time payment of $909.09 was presented to the Single Parent Scholarship Board.
