George W. Peck Scholarship
Julia Peck Mobley offers financial support to a student who is pursuing a degree in a liberal arts program at the University of Arkansas Community College at Hope. This $1,000 scholarship, payable in two consecutive semesters (fall-spring; $500 per semester), is awarded annually. Continued eligibility is subject to academic performance and other scholarship criteria as follows:
- Applicant must be a full-time student at UACCH (taking 12 or more credit hours) and maintaining a minimum cumulative 2.5 grade point average.
- Applicant must be pursuing a degree or certificate in a liberal arts program of study.
- Applicant must be a resident of Hempstead, Lafayette, Miller or Nevada counties, Arkansas, or Bowie County, Texas.
- Applicant must be a student who is not receiving UACCH scholarships or eligible for financial assistance (not counting work-study or student loans).
- Applicant must complete a brief essay addressing the issues presented in the application.
