Students aiming to excel in academics can face many obstacles, some of which include a lack of financial means and, subsequently, a lack of food and hygiene items. Food security is an essential need and yet, inadequate nourishment is a reality for many of our students. As a result, the Iron Horse Pantry was established.

Our mission is to provide all students attending the University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana with a solution to short-term hunger while encouraging campus engagement and education on how to reduce food insecurity. The Iron Horse Pantry strives to provide every student with a successful collegiate experience.

The Iron Horse Pantry, located on the Hope campus in Administration Complex, Room 153, is open to all currently enrolled UAHT students on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday and Wednesday of each month from 1:30 PM – 4:00 PM. An online order form is also available for U of A Texarkana students at the Texarkana campus, click here. For more information, please contact Office of Student Services.
