The University of Arkansas Community College at Hope Fine Arts Club is pleased to announce that it will sponsor and conduct “UACCH Idol” talent competition on February 10th.   

The contest will select three finalists to perform on March 9th and 10th at Fine Arts Night at the College.   The Auditions will take place in the Johnny Rapert Auditorium on the UACCH campus Friday, February 10, from 12:00 noon until 7:00p.m.  Each contestant will be assigned an audition time to perform for the judges on February 10th.   The top three finalists will be asked to perform on March 9th and 10th during Fine Arts Night at the College.  

Contestants from the surrounding area are invited to register for the competition, which features cash prizes for the winners as well as the opportunity to perform at the UACCH Fine Arts Night.   

The contest is open to all singers or vocal groups ages 16 years of age and older, regardless of residency.  Each act will be limited to five minutes and entrants may perform with a pre-recorded instrumental track, perform acappella or with live instrumental backing. 

The top three will be selected for the finals with $200 cash prize awarded to the first-place winner, $100 awarded to the runner-up, and $50 awarded to the third place finisher.  Registration fee is set at $5 for UACCH Students and $10 for all other contestants.
