Q: Where are you from and where did you graduate college?
A: Hope, AR
Q: Why did you choose education as a career?
A: I found out I was good at teaching while employed as an adjunct at UACCH.
Q: What do you LOVE about your classes at UAHT?
A: The look in a student’s eye when they “get-it”
Q: What are your favorite hobbies? What do you do to relax?
A: Lawnmower Racing / build stuff in my home workshop
Q: What is your motto for your class?
A: If you want to pass–come to class.
Q: What is something you wish you would have known when you were in college? Do you have any advice you want to pass along to students?
A: To relax and enjoy it, not stress over the next test or exam.
Q: What is your favorite snack?
A: Reese’s Peanut-butter cups.
Faculty Spotlight: Dr. Loni Taylor!
Loni is a member of the science faculty.
Q: Where are you from and where did you graduate college?
A: I am from Hope, AR. I graduated from the University of Missouri with Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine and from Southern Arkansas University with a Bachelor of Science.
Q: Why did you choose education as a career?
A: I wanted to make a difference and have a role in the lives and careers of those going into medicine and agriculture!
Q: What do you LOVE about your classes at UAHT?
A: I love all of the eager students that are excited about their prospective careers!
Q: What are your favorite hobbies? What do you do to relax?
A: Spend time with my husband and kids, spend time outside in my garden and at the river, and go watch my cutting horse perform.
Q: What is your motto for your class?
A: “Don’t be pushed by your problems, be led by your dreams.” Ralph Waldo Emerson
Q: What is something you wish you would have known when you were in college? Do you have any advice you want to pass along to students?
A: Take my time in each class and not rush through classes to get to the next step.

A: Fruit and coffee!
