The University of Arkansas Community College at Hope has partnered with the regional Small Business and Technology and Development Center to offer a Facebook: Profiles, Pages, and Privacy class on June 15th from 5:30pm until 8:30pm. The class will be held on the UACCH Campus in the Technical and Industrial Building Computer Lab. Megan Whitehead, SAU SBTDC Training Coordinator, will be instructing this informative class.

Facebook is the largest Social Media site with over 500 million users and over 700,000 Businesses online. If you’re not on Facebook, you are missing an opportunity to grow your business with social media. This course will help small business owners evaluate how Facebook and other social media can help their marketing efforts. Topics will include: Privacy Settings for Your Profile, Building Lists of Friends, Page Development and Best Practices, Finding Fans, Delivering Relevant Content, and MUCH more! Attendees will be able to develop a sample Facebook page for their business using a step-by-step guide. Attendees should have basic computer skills but workshop is definitely for novices.
