The Multicultural Society at the University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana will celebrate Black History Month beginning February 1 with a schedule of events for students, staff, faculty, and members of the public.

The month of remembrance honors the history and heritage of peoples of African descent. Events will include a kickoff celebration, keynote speech, culturally enriching luncheons, celebration of academic excellence for area high school seniors, and many other events.
