As a young father, I wanted to provide for my child as best I could. So, I decided to get a certificate that I could finish quickly and in a career field where I could earn a good living. I chose to attend UAHT because it was affordable and close to home, and I heard good things about the Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning program there.
Once I began classes, I realized how much my instructor cared about his students. We were more than just a person in a seat. He truly wanted to help us learn our trade. I found myself looking forward to going to class each day because of the kindness of the staff and my fellow students.
The HVAC program at UAHT, without a doubt, prepared me for my career. I landed a job with Weyerhaeuser in Dierks, Arkansas, before I graduated. Attending UAHT was a great move for my family and me.
