The University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana held the 30th Annual UAHT Community Fish and Chicken Fry on Thursday, April 13, on the Hempstead Hall lawn at the Hope campus. Over 700 people joined us to help raise over $10,000 for scholarships at UAHT.
As always, the fish and chicken fry featured delicious fried catfish and Tyson chicken cooked by the Hope Lions Club. Live music and activities for kids added to the community’s enjoyment.
“This year marked 30 years of our community generously supporting the college by providing funding and scholarships for students who may not otherwise be able to afford a college education,” said Anna Powell, Executive Director of Institutional Advancement. “Thank you for helping UAHT as we endeavor to support creating a better future for our students and community.”
